Construction on the new Amway Center in downtown Orlando met a milestone on November 5, 2009 as the placement of the final steel beam was recognized by the traditional “Topping Off” ceremony. The project team of Hunt Construction Group in association with Rey Group, R.L. Burns, Inc., HZ Construction and Albu & Associates, Inc will complete the 875,000 square foot Amway in the fall of 2010. The facility will host major national events, concerts and family shows, while serving as the home of the Orlando Magic.
